MEALS: Tarpon Caye serves family style meals and our daily menus are varied and very tasty. It is best if we know before you arrive in Belize if you have any special dietary restrictions (food allergies or special requests), so that we can prepare your meals to meet your needs. Please realize the lodge is fairly remote and it is not possible to just “run into town” to get more supplies.

ALCOHOL: Happy Hour drinks (drinks consumed at the bar) are included in package price at Tarpon Caye Lodge, while premium liquors and beer are not. Beers are $4 and premium drinks are $6. For premium liquors, there are Duty Free store in the Belize airport in the Customs area (when entering Belize, after Immigration and before luggage retrieval also, in the exit lounge in the domestic terminal). If purchasing at Duty Free in Belize, visitors are allowed 4 liters of alcohol duty free per person.

GRATUITIES: Gratuities are appreciated by our staff who work hard to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Please tip your guide on your last day of activity and the staff on your departure day. Tipping choice based related to the service you’ve received, typically we recommend US $50-60/per angler per day for guides, and lodge staff US $20-25 per guest per night. Please plan on tipping in cash for both guides and lodge staff. If help is needed, please ask the Lodge manager for guidelines.
